Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated as I know only enough about PFsense to be dangerous but not really any more. Hence the conclusion is that some PFSense is blocking port 2087 from communicating both ways, specially out from the Cpanel services. I can however use the private IP: 192.168.2.9 on the WHMCS Module to communicate and everything works just fine, but the WHMCS folks do not recommend that at all. But when I use a server connect from WHMCS to CPanel using the external Public IP I get a message that it cannot communicate with Cpanel using 2087 (default communication port). I have PFsense configured with NAT to ports 80,443,25,110, (2086, 2087, 2093) (Wan to Lan IP 192.168.2.9) required by CpanelĪll functions of the CPanel work Great and I am able to communicate using the Web browser. This could be accomplish via a variety of methods such as via PHPMyAdmin, the mysql cli, or with the aid of a control panel such as cPanel or Plesk.I have a server with a Pfsense firewall and a CentOS 7.0 Server running Cpanel and WHMCS. ![]() As such, the next step would be to delete the database from the web server. The database is the second most integral part of a WHMCS installation. This list can be found below in the Files and Folders section. To this end we have put together a list of the WHMCS files and folders that we would expect to see in a WHMCS directory. This would typically be every file and folder found within your WHMCS directory, however if there are a number of non-WHMCS files located there as well, then differentiating whether a file is associated with WHMCS or not could prove difficult. The first step to removing WHMCS would be to remove all files and folders that make up the WHMCS installation. Once all of the steps have been completed, the installation will have been successfully removed. Removing a WHMCS installation can be broken down into the 4 following steps:Įach of the four steps is addressed in detail in the following sections of this guide. More information about this can be found on the Restoring WHMCS documentation page. ![]() These backups can be used to restore WHMCS should you wish to continue using it in the future. Note: Before removing WHMCS entirely, we recommend first backing up the configuration.php file and database as per the Manual Database Backup guide. ![]()
